Happy new year, my loves! I hope you are having an awesome week so far! Last year has been nothing but full of surprises! Both on the good side and bad. For the world, many disappointing events happened and I truly hope that there will be more love and peace this year. As for my journey this year, I am very grateful for all the lessons learned, the new experiences, things I had to go through to be stronger, mature and wiser. All these moments unfolded like it was really meant to happen.
2016 was the year I...
embraced my natural curls. In my 26 years of existence, it was only this year that I have fully accepted it and even more... LOVE IT!
traveled on my own! I am not including HongKong because I used to live there. So South Korea it is! Until now my heart still jumps whenever I think about this vacation. It was a dream vacation and the best part? I got to spend 3 nights and 4 days with KH! ♡
watched 3 Kpop concerts. April B.A.P - Live on Earth, September: Urban Zakapa - Canada Tour, November: CL - Hello Bitches Tour
My favorite concert will have to be Urban Zakapa! I can't! They are all so good! They are like the MYMP of Korea!
had layover dates with Mika.
moved into my family and I's first owned house in Canada.
spent an entire day with Ayan and her family while visiting Vancouver.
reconnected with Christine B. and Junelle :)
took a calligraphy workshop and finally met one of the calligraphers I look up to. Christina of @foxandflourish. She's very friendly and genuine!.
spent a lot days eating ice cream and korean food during the Summer with my dance buddies: Krystel, Ria, and Zamirah.
flew to LA and spent a long weekend with Mika. Unwinding was very much needed for the both of us!
joined and graduated SFC-CLP. Didn't know I will be joining this early! Although I haven't been that active, I am quite curious where He will lead me next.
was given an opportunity to be a part of Singles for Christ's first Global One in Canada.
finally took a Korean class with Kaila.
received a Creative Excellence award at work. There's nothing like being appreciated with your hard work.
watched a lot of Korean drama! There are too many to mention but I can probably make a separate post on that. XD
Phew! Now for the new year... like last year I also don't have any sure plans yet but I have goals that I hope to achieve. These are to:
- be fearless
- travel more
- start working on my small business
- get me L and start practicing driving
- stay focus and inspired
- save MONEY
- learn to be consistent
- do volunteer works
- lose some pounds (like srsly)
It doesn't seem that hard, right? I must achieve at least 5 out of 10 from this list! Wish me luck guys!
